Description

The branch manager is the representative of the company who effectively handles the public along with the situations that arise and directly affect the company. This Branch Manager will be responsible for meeting the budget established for the branch, as well as attracting new business opportunities; explore new ideas and manage existing ones, and develop established strategies to achieve the financial goals of the company. The position implies collaboration with other departments of the company to resolve situations of commercial and contractual origin; contract negotiations; project planning, and risk management as well as supervising and implementing periodic reviews of sales and operational activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the sales, service and marketing strategies established by management and the Corporation.
  • Comply with the objectives set and results established in the short and long term of the Branch.
  • Complete sales analysis, sales activity reports and presentations as required.
  • Provide Branch sales and earnings projections periodically as requested.
  • Supervise, support and motivate the Branch sales and operations staff for effective execution.
  • Ensure that the Branch is organized, well presented and complies with all permits required by law.
  • Ensure that the Branch has all the equipment and tools necessary and in condition for its proper operation.
  • Ensure that the Branch complies with all the security measures required by Law and by the Corporation.
  • Implement improvement processes within the counter sales cycle and daily sales.
  • Support the execution of promotional activities and events within the Branch.
  • Manage or support key accounts and develop quotes for sensitive projects.
  • Execute strategies and tactics with the intention of winning new clients and / or accounts.
  • Establish strategies and tactics to develop relationships with existing customers and expand the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with the various departments and / or teams of the company (marketing, sales, customer service, etc.).
  • Know the internal processes, sales initiatives and resources in order to assist the sales group to achieve organizational goals.
  • Approve expenses and manage earnings by reporting them to the appropriate people.
  • Work collaboratively and indirectly with the Commercial Director, to ensure compliance with the established goals of the Corporation.
  • Participate in the annual inventory of the company.
  • Supervise that solutions to meet customer needs are executed in a reasonable time.
  • Collaborate with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and resolution of problems.
  • Coordinate negotiations with the sales and purchasing departments to maintain and improve WDC's strategic advantage, as well as costs.
  • Attend sales and management meetings as requested.
  • Attend training outside the work area when deemed necessary and approved by management.
  • Ensure that all profit and sales objectives at the group, individual and company level are achieved according to the expectations and established metrics.
  • Perform any other function related to the position as may be requested by the administration staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related areas.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in sales of industrial or commercial electrical products.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of business-to-business sales experience.
  • Negotiation skills and ability to communicate with clients and internal company personnel.
  • Proficient in computers specifically in Microsoft Office®.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Possess a positive attitude and capacity for teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Skills to meet goals efficiently and effectively.
  • Motivated and able to solve problems.
  • Knowledge of sales in the industrial market and / or contractors.
  • Fully bilingual.
  • Ability to travel outside the country.
  • Ability to work in a changing work environment.
  • Have your own car and a valid driver's license.
  • Availability to travel to the entire island.
  • Ability to understand and analyze trends within the market.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial or business reports, professional publications, technical procedures, legal or government regulations, among others.
  • Aimed at customer service.
  • Knowledge in generating calculations of discounts, interests, commissions, proportions and percentage, rates, reason; draw and interpret graphs
