This position serves as the organizational expert responsible for ensuring Global Compliance, data integrity and data governance across all data services delivered by the Global Data Center.
The Senior Data Governance & Compliance Subject Matter Expert safeguards all data analytics and AI solutions compliance to HIPAA, FDA 21, CFR Part 11, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, GxP, and internal Company’ policies. This role also provides compliance standard guidelines in AI ethics.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Company’ Data Analytics Services Global Center to operate in compliance with data governance and healthcare privacy solutions.
- Establish and maintain the enterprise -wide data governance framework in compliance with Regional/Global regulatory standards.
- Define and execute data lineage, classification, retention, usage controls across data pipelines and platforms.
- Enforce Company’ Data compliance and AI Ethics policy.
- Ensure full compliance with HIPAA, FDA21 CFR Part11, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC2, in addition to regional regulations.
- Integrate new data protection laws in all jurisdictions
- Primary audit liaison for internal and external compliance audits.
- Responsible for Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
- Ensure Data Privacy and Risk mitigation
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering Data Management or a related field
- 7 plus years of experience in data governance, data privacy, and compliance.
- Experience with frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR,FDA CFR Part 11, SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, LGPD, PDPA, APPI
- Proficiency with Data Governance tools (i.e. Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Microsoft Purview)
- Data Privacy enhancing technologies such as data encryption, anonymization, tokenization, RBAC/ABAC controls
- English Proficiency required
- Certifications nice to have such as CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001, CDMP, CEET,CIPT CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP
