Senior Accountant

Our client, a multinational company in the restaurant industry, is currently looking for a Sr. Accountant to join their dynamic team who will shape the financial heartbeat of their thriving enterprise. This role is responsible for monthly closing procedures, financial statement analysis, CAPEX, auditing support, among other responsibilities regarding the complete accounting cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the monthly accounting close for assigned accounts, including analysis and recording of payroll entries and SOX processes.
• Preparation and analysis of financial results. This includes explanations of Balance Sheet Variances, Cashflow, Income Statement and Consolidated P&L.
• Responsible for PR and USVI Rentals process, including analysis, payment process and lease standard analysis.
• Responsible for CAPEX analysis and control. This includes analysis of depreciation and interest expense and project closings.
• Responsible for the analysis and control of Maintenance and Repair expense.
• Supports PR financial and SOX Audit processes.
• Supports the Development team in budgeting and/or analysis issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point (Intermediate).
