Description
Our client, an international bank is hiring a Credit Analyst. This position will be responsible for supporting the full loan process—from application to servicing—across consumer, commercial, and real estate loans, while also generating documentation, processing payments, maintaining reports, and providing guidance to junior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Initiates and prepares credit requests, gathers applicant data, runs credit reports, and orders preliminary documentation (e.g., title, UCC, flood reports).
- Analyzes creditworthiness and prepares financing recommendations for review by Senior Management or Credit Committee.
- Reviews and generates accurate loan documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal lending policies.
- Processes loan payments, advances, disbursements, interest reserves, and handles draw requests in line with contract terms.
- Boards completed loans into the system, maintains credit files, monitors loan quality, and handles insurance requirements and UCC filings.
- Supports loan officers and customers with account research, payoff calculations, inquiries, and administrative tasks.
- Ensures regulatory compliance, upholds internal values and safety standards, and promotes a diverse and respectful workplace environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in credit or loan processing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of loan servicing, banking compliance regulations (e.g., RESPA, HMDA), title policies, and bank lending policies.
- Proficiency with computers, including word processing, spreadsheets, loan systems, and specialty banking software.
- Ability to calculate interest, percentages, and ratios; identify mathematical errors; and interpret data in graphs.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish): Strong verbal and written communication
