Bilingual Maintenance Mechanic Technician

We are recruiting a Plant Maintenance Technician to join a global industrial leader offering a stable and innovative work environment.

This role will play a key role in the operation and maintenance of critical plant equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair rotary plant equipment such as compressors, pumps, fans, and motors. 
• Assist with preventive maintenance planning and execute preventive maintenance tasks on schedule. 
• Perform modifications and repairs from the Continuous Improvement or Health and Safety committees. 
• Conduct daily equipment and machine inspections to ensure proper operation and maintain the Shop and Spare Parts Room.
• Execute PM work orders and ensure system closing (TECO) via Prometheus. 
• We seek someone bilingual with a customer focus and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with teams and vendors.

Ideal requirements:

• The person must bring mechanical strengths.
• Cryogenic systems
• In-house repairs
• Motors, pumps, and refrigeration systems
• Propane or natural gas systems
• Industrial mechanical maintenance experience (covering all aspects of maintenance)
• PLCs, P&ID drawings, and equipment troubleshooting
• Preventive maintenance, SAP, and AutoCAD knowledge
• Equipment calibration and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., Class 3 environments).
• Knowledge of compressor overhauls, electrical systems, pumps, piping, vibration analysis, etc.
• HMI (Human-Machine Interface)
• Some experience with control valves, transmitters, PLC signal checks, and control valve rebuilding/troubleshooting
• Preventive Maintenance Systems: SAP, Maximo, or Prometheus (they use Prometheus)
• Strong team player, leadership experience (currently in a Group Leader role)
• Ability to train and develop team members.
