Innovation & Technology Director

Our client, a prominent automotive distributor is hiring an Innovation & Technology Director. This position will be responsible for executing the company’s technology and innovation strategy, leading digital transformation, and ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient IT systems aligned with business needs and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all IT operations, including infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, data governance, software development, and technical support.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy and security regulations across all systems.
• Lead risk management efforts to ensure business continuity and technological resilience.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations for cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze system performance, evaluate technology upgrades, and recommend process improvements.
• Guide, develop, and evaluate the IT team while fostering innovation and cross-departmental collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Preferred: Masters in Digital Transformation, Innovation, or Project Management
• 5+ years of experience as a Technology Director or in a similar leadership role
• Preferred: Knowledge of data protection laws and cybersecurity
• Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA, advanced tech solutions, and innovation projects
