Description
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the Engineering Department of our client, a leader in the hospitality industry based in the south area. This is a hands-on leadership role with high accountability, overseeing daily operations and serving as the subject-matter expert during a major renovation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Engineering operations across all facilities
- Oversee safety, security, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and remodeling activities
- Act as the Engineering SME working with external Construction Company PMs
- Support a multi-phase master renovation plan
- Manage engineering coverage of three buildings, plus banquet areas, conference spaces, golf campus, and clubhouse
- Lead and develop a team of 25 in the engineering and grounds department
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and industry standards
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of engineering leadership experience in hospitality or large commercial facilities (hospitals, manufacturing plants)
- Strong project management experience
- Proven hands-on leader with high accountability
- Deep technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
