Legal Manager

Our client a trusted Multinational Company in the financial sector is hiring their Legal Manager. This position reports directly to the In-House & Chief Compliance Officer. This role provides legal advice in the implementation of policies to support Business operations. Compliance and regulatory functions are key responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a plan to comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Monitors the regulatory compliance implementation and provides guidelines to support business units.
• Supervision of the Vendor management administration process
• Interprets and implement new laws and regulations in business units.
• Advise on legal and regulatory requirements applicable to the industry.
• Advise on corporate governance.
• Draft and review vendor agreements.
• Review contracts terms and conditions.
• Coordinates and perform notary work for the Corporation and maintains the local Notary Bar.
• Participate in the Enterprise Risk Management Committee.

• Juris Doctor
• Puerto Rico Bar license
• Puerto Rico Notary Bar
• 5 plus years of relevant experience
• Fully bilingual
