Our client is hiring their Security Engineer, this position is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, implementing controls that protect the Data Analytics Services of the Enterprise. This role is responsible for the operation, optimization for all users and services. This role ensures that all data is encrypted though robust standards, prevent security incidents and maintain data privacy and compliance throughout a hybrid cloud structure.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with security architect to analyze security events
- Provide technical recommendations to prevent recurrence and system resilience
- Detect and respond to identity or encryption -related security events.
- Collaborate with security architect and operational teams to secure data pipelines and storage
- Collaborate with security architect & Operations on incident management and vulnerability prioritization
- Advise software developers and operations team on secure coding
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Security, computer science, computer engineer, information technology or related technical degree
- 5 plus years of experience in enterprise IAM and cryptography engineering within hybrid cloud environments
- Deep understanding of authentication protocols
- Proficiency with IAM tools
- Strong knowledge of encryption standards
- Skilled in automation scripting for IAM
- Experience in OWASP Top 10 and secure software development principles
- Fully fluent in English required
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA) or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
- Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
- Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor
- Certified Encryption Specialist (ECES) preferred
