Description
The Executive Director will serve as the senior operational leader for our startup in Puerto Rico. This role requires a visionary yet hands-on leader with a deep understanding of healthcare operations and a passion for building and scaling high-quality clinical programs from the ground up. The Executive Director will oversee all aspects of regional strategy, operations, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment with broader corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute strategic and operational plans to establish medical services across Puerto Rico.
- Serve as the face of the organization locally, driving brand visibility and forging critical partnerships.
- Translate long-term strategic goals into day-to-day operations through effective delegation, team building, and oversight.
- Lead site selection, launch, and growth of clinical facilities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and excellence.
- Design and implement performance metrics to ensure accountability, quality, and operational success.
- Recruit, assess, and lead multidisciplinary clinical and administrative teams.
- Foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture that aligns with the company’s values and objectives.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities to team members, enhancing performance and retention.
- Maintain strong communication with corporate leadership, partners, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred.
- Extensive experience leading and managing clinical teams in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated success in developing strategic plans and translating them into actionable operational goals through effective delegation.
- Well-connected leader in Puerto Rico, with a track record of building a strong local brand presence and scaling organizations from site selection to full operational launch.
- Skilled in designing and implementing performance metrics to drive accountability and operational efficiency.
- Proven leadership capabilities in motivating, assessing, and developing multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on aligning local initiatives with corporate financial and strategic objectives.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Preferable previous exposure in early-stage operations, bringing structure, scalability, and strategic direction to fast-paced, evolving settings.
