Security Engineer

This position of Principal Engineer is a sole contributor reporting to the Site Reliability Share services. This Data Center ensures that the analytical services remain available, performant and secure across global markets.

Responsibilities:

• This senior technical expert position is accountable for designing, implementing, and operating the Enterprise observability and telemetry architecture supporting the Company data analytics services.
• Ensure telemetry data and analytics events are integrated into the Company’s global security
• Design and implement an end-to-end observability and telemetry architecture supporting hybrid environments (Azure, AWS and/or GCP)
• Unified monitoring frameworks using Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace and/or New Relic
• Design and automate metrics align with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Develop auto remediation to reduce incident duration
• Design and operationalize automated incident detection

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 8 plus years of experience in site reliability, observability or infrastructure operations
• 5 plus years of experience designing and operating enterprise -grade monitoring and incident management systems
• Experience integrating SRE observability with SIEM and Soar systems (i.e. Microsoft Sentinel, Slunk, or QRadar)
• Experience in automating detection and remediation workflows in hybrid cloud environments.
• Certifications nice to has such Google Cloud Professional SRE or AWS Devops engineering, Datadog or Dynatrace certified observability Engineer, Azure Solutions, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, ITIL v4 Foundation.
• English proficiency required
