Programmer

Our client, a Financial Corporation that manages international investment portfolios is hiring a qualified Programmer who will be responsible for developing quality codes for applications and complex operating and information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with analysts and developers to develop software designs.
• Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes.
• Transform software designs and specifications into high-performance code in the appropriate language.
• Integrate individual software solutions into higher-level systems.
• Test code periodically to ensure that it delivers desirable results and debug it when necessary.
• Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient.
• Collaborate with technical writers to develop user support documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, programming and/or related field
• 5+ years of experience in the field is required Ability to program in languages such as SQL, Javascript, Python, HTML, etc.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and LLS.
• Demonstrable ability to discover and fix bugs in code.
