Summary:
A growing insurance agency within a well‑established corporate group is seeking a strategic and results‑driven General Manager to lead its operational and commercial execution. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth, ensuring full regulatory compliance, optimizing internal processes, and aligning the agency with broader organizational initiatives. The General Manager will oversee sales, service, operations, and compliance teams while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies across auto, life, property, and commercial insurance lines.
- Lead, coach, and supervise producers, service representatives, and administrative staff.
- Design sales incentives, referral programs, and marketing‑aligned promotional campaigns.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with insurers, banks, and other business partners.
- Oversee issuance, renewals, claims, collections, and customer service processes.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including production, retention rates, operating expenses, and team efficiency.
- Maintain updated licenses, registrations, and required documentation.
- Coordinate regulatory audits and annual filings with internal corporate departments.
- Lead digital transformation and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Coordinate internal training in sales, service, and compliance.
- Assess new business lines, partnerships, and digital channels.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and regulatory compliance.
- Motivate teams toward measurable results and effective collaboration.
- Serve as a liaison between the agency and the associated corporate structure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Insurance.
- Valid General Producer or Authorized Representative license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading an insurance agency or insurance operations team.
- Proven ability to lead both sales and operational functions.
- Strong analytical, planning, and execution skills.
- Proactive, results‑oriented, organized, and committed to service and compliance excellence.
