General Accountant

Our Client, an International Insurance Company is hiring a General Accountant. This position is responsible for the preparation of documentation for the day‐to‐day accounting and finance transactions, including bookkeeping, full accounting cycle, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in the completion of balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the planning and implementations of accounting work and activities
• Performs balancing of source systems to GL
• Working knowledge of the general accounting cycle, fund, and investment accounting
• Keep preparing accounting controls and recommending policies and procedures
• Prepare special reports requested by management

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 1+ years of related experience
• Previous customer service experience
• Strong communications skills in English & Spanish (verbal and written)
• Computer proficient
