Director of Investment & M&A

Our Client, a large business conglomerate in the distribution and retail business is hiring a Director to be in charge of the company’s investment portfolio and business analysis of new Business.  This position is a hands-on strategic leadership position reporting directly to the President.

Responsibilities:

• This position will support all company’s investments related matters
• Lead the asset allocation strategy, leading the brokerage firms and external advisors
• Review the portfolio investment performance and advice on tax efficiency of the investments
• Serve as a  liaison to external advisors working with the  directed strategies and investment activities
• Attend meetings with lawyers, trustees , taxes and financial advisory to direct investment strategies
• Embrace an advisory role to inform and analyze business opportunities
• Support analysis of ROI for possible acquisitions and new ventures  opportunities
• Supervisory and coaching responsibilities for the staff in charge

• Bachelor degree in Finance , accounting or related field
• CPA, CFP,MBA, JD desired
• Investment licenses nice to have
• Minimum 7 years of related work experience
• Fully bilingual
• Record of integrity and ethical standards
• Broad business acumen
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Strong analytical and strategic skills
