The role of Director of DevOps Engineering Shared Services is a leadership position that will oversee the software engineering developers. This position will be focus on building and scaling engineering capabilities to deliver innovative, secure, and reliable software and data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, champions best practices in DevOps and software development, and inspires teams to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Set the vision and strategy for DevOps and software engineering shared services.
• Lead, mentor, and grow multidisciplinary teams including developers, QA engineers, UX/UI designers, and project managers.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of software and analytics platforms.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with organizational goals.
• Manage operational budgets, workforce planning, and technology vendor relationships.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
• Establish KPI’s to measure software delivery performance, platform reliability, availability and responsiveness
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to align engineering practice with Global practice.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• 10+ years managing engineering teams in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools, Kubernetes, microservices, and API development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and observability/monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing technical teams.
• Experience with budgeting, vendor management, and strategic workforce planning.
• Preferred certifications: Azure DevOps Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Terraform Associate.
