Data Engineer

Our client, a leading institution is hiring a Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data pipelines ad architecture using Microsoft Fabric. The role will be responsible for working with various data sources and technologies to ensure seamless data integration and empower robust analytics and reporting throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

• Create scalable and efficient data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
• Continuously monitor and optimize data flows to enhance performance
• Implement mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the pipeline.
• Connect and integrate data from various source systems including API’s, SFTPs and servers
• Develop and maintain processes to transform raw data into usable formats
• Manage databases including Fabric lake houses and warehouses.
• Design data models and schemas to support efficient data access and analysis
• Design architectures and tools to enable Power Bi reporting and advanced analytics
• Provide accurate and timely data reporting support.
• Develop systems to track and analyze metadata

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in data management or a related field.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
