Cybersecurity Engineer

Our client, a multinational, leader in a regulated service industry is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer.  This position will work in the development and managing next generation solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with infrastructure operating systems, host compliance, file integrity monitoring solutions, and advanced malware defensive technologies. Previous experience working with fast paced business operations with agility to comply to diverse regulatory and security framework expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage system /application environment, configuration, and required operational technical security solutions
• Provide security technology incident response.
• Troubleshoots software/hardware issues resolves alerts and perform remediation activities for return to operation.
• Accountable for follow -up of all security work.
• Supports the development and maintenance of documentation for technical security solutions.
• Assist with testing and validation of product performance
• Assist disaster recovery planning, design and implementation on technology security solutions.
• Research, evaluation, validation and recommendation of technical security solutions.
• Coordinates with product vendors and service providers supporting technical security.

• Bachelor degree in information technology, cybersecurity or related field
• System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) certification, prefer.
• 4 plus years of related experience
• Exposure to project management methodologies like waterfall, Agile, Lean or SAFe methodologies.
• Knowledge or running IBM, AIX, Red Hat Enterprise, MAC OSX and Window Enterprise operating systems.
• Scripting and application development background (software development, scripting, Java, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)- Nice to have
• Application Security (WAF, Web application firewall, Bot protection, Privileged Access Management, identify proofing, ID proofing, Azure, PKI, API security, application vulnerability scanning)- Nice to have.
