Director of Information Technology

Our client, an innovative hospitality and healthcare projects company is hiring a Director of Information Technology. This position will lead the company’s technology strategy across our affiliates and operations in Puerto Rico, ensuring that all systems and infrastructure effectively support business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute strategic technology initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Drive innovation through AI tools, automation, and process optimization.
• Manage vendor partnerships and implement cost-effective IT solutions.
• Mentor the IT team while enforcing cybersecurity standards and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in IT management, including leadership roles in complex, multi-location environments.
• Proven experience as an IT Director, Head of IT, or similar leadership role.
• Strong background in IT infrastructure, software implementation, and security management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while balancing strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving.
• Proficient in developing and delivering training programs on key IT areas, including AI, to ensure team growth and adoption of emerging technologies.
