Description
The HR Manager act as both a hands-on HR manager and a strategic business partner to executive leadership. In this role, you will manage HR functions such as employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and performance management while contributing to strategic initiatives that drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business goals.
- Manage high-volume employee relations cases, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and engagement programs.
- Supervise the employee relations area, including investigations and claims, with hands-on involvement.
- Provide macro-level oversight for recruitment operations and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Design action plans to address HR challenges and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with unions to support positive labor relations and ensure no actions are taken that violate labor legislation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices.
- Oversee performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs and foster a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with 5 years in management or as an HR business partner.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and experience in labor-intensive industries.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
