Data Architect

Our Client, a Global Health Care Leader is hiring a Data Architect for Puerto Rico site. This Information Technology Role supports manufacturing operational excellence. The Data Architect will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy and principles to manage all data most effectively and setting up the necessary processes for expansions.

Responsibilities:

• Define data strategy and related architecture
• Ensure delivery of solutions prioritized by the site
• Ability to work with business to identify future uses for data
• Develop technical strategy for future data structure and integration
• Develop understanding how the enterprise data strategies, platforms and technologies enables business executions
• Continuously scan the technology environment for new trends
• Develop understanding of business data needs

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline
• CDMP certification / AWS solution Architect nice to have
• Ten plus years of experience designing large scale data models
• SQL and data modeling proficiency
• Experience with data modeling tools (i.e. ER*Studio/Erwin/TOAD)
• Experience with multiple data base solutions (i.e. Postgres, Redshift, Aurora, Athena)
• Experience with Agile development
• Experience in architectural processes
• Previous experience as an IT leader leading large scale portfolios
• Proven ability to influence IT and business strategies to drive large-scale outcomes
• Previous experience on IT project delivery
• Experience with project management methodologies, agile frame works (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
• Knowledge in data functions such as Data Governance, Master data Management, Business intelligence
