We are seeking a seasoned professional with a passion for heading construction projects, a dynamic team, and driving our client’s construction and inspections division to new heights!
The ideal Leader should possess 15+ years of experience, an Engineering or Architectural degree, with a PE or RA license.
Impactful Work: The leader in this role will be pivotal in managing the daily operations within the Project Management & Inspections division, an integral component of the Company. This role requires a highly driven leader who is adept at managing day-to-day operational tasks, fostering client relationships, spearheading business development initiatives, leading a diverse team, and conducting fieldwork as necessary. Leads projects that significantly contribute to community development and infrastructure improvement.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the operations of the construction division, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery.
- Manage design, pre-construction, and construction management activities for a variety of projects.
- Ensure compliance with federal funding regulations, with a preference for experience in CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT programs.
- Utilize various construction procurement methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and Multiple Award Task Order Contracts.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project outcomes.
- Oversee budget management, project scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Architecture.
- License: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Professional Architecture (RA) license is required; PMP certification is advantageous.
- Associations: Active membership with the Puerto Rico College of Engineers and Land Surveyors or the Puerto Rico College of Architects and Landscaping Architects.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years in design, pre-construction, or construction management.
- Proven experience with federally funded projects, especially CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT programs.
- Expertise in multiple delivery methods for procuring construction services.
- Language Skills: Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
