Description
Our Client, a large local Conglomerate in the Service Industry is hiring their CFO. This position will report to the President of the company and will be responsible for providing strategic and operational financial leadership for the Company. The role is responsible for building and monitoring the financial plans and metrics that will grow revenue, manage expenses, and meet free cash flow targets for existing businesses and new ventures. In addition, the role directs the company’s financial planning, forecasting and analysis with a focus on financial and operating performance while enhancing shareholder value.
Responsibilities:
- Develop short and long-term financial plans
- Provide comprehensive, insightful, and actionable financial updates
- Maintain a “business leader” approach with awareness of external and environmental issues
- Review and analyze performance including administrative costs, variances to budget, and real estate costs
- Oversee all financial activities and processes including budgeting, tax, treasury, cash management, internal controls, audit, forecasting, insurance and licenses, and financial operations
- Provide direction, guidance and coaching to the Finance team through communication and education to increase the Company’s overall financial acumen.
- Chair or co-Chair with Corporate Counsel the Company’s Governance Committee
- Support the business and executives with other projects, as needed
Requirements
- MBA in Finance or Accounting
- 12+ years of experience as Finance Executive or equivalent
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- CFA, CMA, FP&A, CPA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting and awareness of continuing changes that affect financial reporting
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products and ERP systems
- Fully bilingual (English/Spanish)
