Description
Primary Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the annual fund campaign aligned with organizational objectives and fundraising priorities
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to set annual fund goals and priorities
- Implement effective stewardship practices to maintain and enhance relationships with existing annual fund donors
- Plan and coordinate annual fund-related events, including donor appreciation events and campaigns to enhance donor engagement
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the progress of the annual fund campaign
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve fundraising targets
- Develop and manage the budget for the annual fund, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet campaign goals
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of annual giving principles, door solicitation, and stewardship
- Familiarity with fundraising software and tools
- Results-oriented and able to meet ambitious fundraising targets
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently, attention to detail and remaining calm under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
- Excellent writing and communication skills, both in English and Spanish
- Effective communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate a high level of speaking, organization and public relations skills
- Possess vision, patience, perseverance, tact and diplomacy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, communications, humanities, art or related field
- Proven track record of successful annual fund management with a minimum of 8 years of experience in fundraising
